In the effort to provide high levelled Security and according to Greek / International legislation and EU directives, Olympic Airlines are taking all security measures necessary for the safety of aircrafts, passengers, flight crew, ground staff and airport facilities, in respect of any attack or illegal action that may occur either on the ground or during the flight.
 
 
Indicative measures:

l Security checks and guarding of aircrafts
 
l Security checks of passengers and flight crew
 
l Security checks of luggage, carry on luggage, catering,
aircraft supplies, cargo, press and mail
 
l Security checks of aircraft access
 
l Security checks of ground staff moving through airport's controlled areas and near aircrafts
 
l Locked cockpit door during the flight
 
l Supervision of cockpit entrance area by special monitors
 
l The above mentioned measures are carried out by especially trained personnel.
